President: Margaret F. Jordan
Margaret is Director of Mental Health Services for
Human Resources Unlimited,
a not-for-profit agency in Springfield that has
operated since 1970.
She oversees
the mental health division, which consists of four
psychosocial rehabilitation clubhouses: Forum House
in Westfield, Lighthouse in Springfield, Star Light
Center in Florence and Tradewinds in Southbridge,
all of which are ICCD certified. She oversees
supported housing contracts through HUD, DTA
employment contracts and contracts to provide
employment services to people with mental illness
who are homeless. Margaret has held her current
position for the past 14 years. Previously she was
founding director of Forum House for 4 years, and
Director of Westfield Enterprises, a supported
employment program in Westfield.
Margaret is a Certified Psych Rehabilitation
Practitioner, is a surveyor for CARF and serves on
numerous task forces and working groups in the areas
of homelessness, employment and other areas. She
has been a member of the MassPRA board since its
inception in 2000, first serving as Secretary and
then President-Elect.
President Elect:
Deborah Delman
Deborah Delman serves
as the Executive Coordinator of M-POWER and the
Acting Director of The Transformation Center. She
credits the beginning of her recovery process to
participation in M-POWER. As an early staff member,
Ms. Delman helped to found M-POWER and its Boston
Chapter in 1987. From 1990 to 1995 she opened and
directed a Rehabilitation and Recovery day service
for Greater Lynn Mental Health serving people that
were being discharged from Danvers State Hospital
during its closure. She returned to M-POWER in 1995
as Executive Coordinator, adopting “best practice”
training curricula including a Peer Advocacy
curriculum by Advocacy Unlimited and the nationally
recognized Leadership Academy curriculum. Ms Delman
has served as a member of the MassPRA Board of
Directors since 2000. She was the recipient of the
NAMI – Mass Consumer of the Year Award in 2001 and
the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Corporations
of Massachusetts Excellence Award in 2001. Deborah
holds a BS in Foods & Nutrition from the University
of Maine.
Treasurer: Brian Osborne
Brian currently serves as the Director of
Rehabilitation Services for the Metro Boston Area of
DMH and has been a board member of the Massachusetts
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association since
September 2002. He is a Certified Psychosocial
Rehabilitation Practitioner whose interest in
providing rehabilitative services to seriously
mentally ill individuals dates back to the 1980’s.
Prior to beginning his career, Brian obtained a BA
in Psychology from UMass Amherst in 1985. he began
his career as an Inpatient Mental Health Worker at
the Westwood Lodge Psychiatric Hospital. Brian also
worked in the Activities Department of Westwood
Lodge prior to becoming a DMH Case Manager in the
Metro Suburban Area. Brian has supervised Case
Management teams in the Metro Suburban Area as, well
as Metro Boston. He has obtained a Masters in Human
Services Administration from the UMass Boston
College of Public & Community Service, and became a
Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner in
June of 2003.
Secretary: Kerri Kuklentz
Kerri is currently a Program Director for Vinfen
Corporation. She oversees two Residential Programs
and Supported Housing for the Cambridge/Somerville
area. Kerri joined the MassPRA board in March of
2003. Since then she has been an active participant
of the Conference committee, and has been
responsible for registration at MassPRA’s annual
conference. Previously, she worked at the Boston
University Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation for
5 years as the Coordinator of Services. She is a
Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and holds a
Masters in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from Boston
University.
